October 18, 2026 - 07:03

Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm has confirmed a decision regarding forward Pavel Zacha for the team's game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday in Los Angeles. The announcement settles questions about Zacha's availability as the Bruins continue their road trip on the West Coast.

Zacha has been a steady presence in Boston's lineup, contributing at both ends of the ice and logging significant minutes in key situations. His status for the Kings game had been a point of uncertainty, and Sturm's confirmation gives the team clarity as it prepares for a tough opponent in Los Angeles.

The Bruins are looking to build momentum during this stretch of the schedule, and having a clear picture of their roster helps with line combinations and matchups. Los Angeles has been competitive on home ice, so Boston will need a full effort from its forward group.

Sturm addressed the media before the game and provided the update, putting to rest speculation about Zacha's role for the matchup. The team will now focus on execution as it faces the Kings in what should be a physical contest.

Boston continues its road swing with this game, and the coaching staff will monitor lineup decisions closely as the season progresses.
