Farewell to Summit County: A Sports Reporter Reflects on Four Years

After a little over four years at the Summit Daily News, my time at the paper and within the Summit County community has come to an end. It is challenging to express the depth of gratitude I feel for the experiences and relationships I have built during my tenure here.

From covering thrilling high school sports events to engaging with local athletes, my journey has been filled with unforgettable moments. The passion and dedication exhibited by the athletes, coaches, and fans have left a lasting impression on me. I have had the privilege of sharing their stories, celebrating their victories, and supporting them through challenges.

As I prepare to embark on a new chapter, I will carry with me the memories of this vibrant community. The warmth and camaraderie I experienced here will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you, Summit County, for the incredible support and for allowing me to be part of your story.
