Seniors participating in fall sports at Albany High should mark their calendars for the upcoming Senior Media Day photo shoot. The event is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14, at 3:30 p.m. on the third-floor balcony area.
All senior athletes are asked to arrive promptly at that time to have their portraits taken by John Wong Photography. The photos captured during this session will be used to create large, weatherproof senior banners. Each senior will have their own individual banner made from the shoot.
The Albany Booster Club is funding these banners, which will be displayed at senior night events throughout the season. Thanks to their support, each senior will also get to keep their banner as a keepsake of their time as a Falcon student-athlete.
There is no sitting fee for the photo shoot. However, students and their families will have the option to purchase additional photos if they are interested.
Senior Media Day sessions for winter and spring sports will be announced closer to those seasons.
Beyond the Senior Media Day, seniors will also take part in the regular sports photo sessions for all student-athletes in grades 9 through 12. Those sessions are run by Upstate Images, which provides photography for the Albany High yearbook. Families can choose to buy individual or team photos from those sessions. More information will be shared when the fall sports season gets underway.
